Tilde is a character belonging
to my friend Maddie!

She is a Sapiel, a self-aware desktop assistant developed by Seikatsusoft, a now-defunct Japanese software company. They were never officially released to the public, and are now extremely rare and obscure after Seikatsusoft's offices suffered a catastrophic fire.

Her soft mint green color scheme indicates that she is more general-purpose; Sapiels with more vivid colors are usually specialized for one kind of task on a computer. Tilde's name, referencing the shortcut to the home directory on Unix OSes (~), is also a reference to this general-purpose nature.
